The Polar Express

Today we took a ride on the Polar Express! Your kiddos are coming home with a baggie full of goodies to help them retell the story to you. On Monday we will be watching the movie. Don't forget to wear your pajamas and slippers!

Marvelous Manners Lunch

Today was Brownstown's annual Marvelous Manners Lunch! Kids came dressed up and ready to use their best manners. We enjoyed talking to each other and listening to Mrs. Baldwin and Mrs. Brown play instruments for us.

Box Top Award

Today, during First Friday, Mrs. Ditzler announced the primary and intermediate classes who collected the most box tops in the month of November. We won! We collected 1,099 box tops last month! Way to go! Keep collecting and hopefully we can win two months in a row. :)

Harlem Wizards

Yesterday, November 9, we were visited by a member of the Harlem Wizards basketball team. The Harlem Wizards will be playing a game against CV teachers and staff tonight, November 10. Doors open at CVHS at 5:30 and the game begins at 6:30. I hope to see you there!




Mobile Ag Lab

On Monday, November 2 the Mobile Ag Lab came to visit Brownstown! We read The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza and acted out the parts. We also talked about how pizza comes from a farm. Your child brought home a charm necklace to tell you all about the process from farm to table.

Pumpkin Carving Fest!

On Friday, we carved five pumpkins in Room 7! We had a blast learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin and then getting our hands ooey and gooey!
